  1. Placed chilled milk into a cold frother. Heat with steam wand carefully. Being sure to keep the wand lower in the milk to prevent bubbles from rising to the top. Until hot, but the pitcher is not uncomfortable to hold.

  2. Warm your espresso cup with hot water, then pull your shot directly into the cup. Being sure to pull as much Crema as possible from your beans.

  3. Finish frothing your milk with a hand frother, careful to prevent bubbles from entering the milk. The result should be a glossy, thick foam that isn’t dry or fluffy. Tap the pitcher against the counter to remove any excess air from the milk.

  4. Pour the foam directly into the center of your shot, carefully to pour the milk under the cream (raise the height of the pitcher a little to increase the velocity of the foam and help the milk incorporate.) The crema should remain on top of the cup.

  5. Finish with latte art, if desired.
